The Uxbridge High School Booster Club, founded November 1, 1982, is dedicated to the support of all male and female athletes at Uxbridge High School. The club helps provide financial and material support to the athletes, coaches, and staff to enhance the High School athletics experience. We are always looking for members to help us help the athletes. Contact a member or come to a meeting if you'd like to get involved. |

The UHS Athletic Department in conjunction with the UHS Athletic Booster Club held the annual spring sports and senior recognition banquet. The UHS Athletic Booster Club awarded $1000 scholarships to seniors Laura Bishop, Felecia Wissekerke, Jake Storey and Mike Lovett. Also recognized with the District E Athletic Directors Award were Laura Bishop and Mike Lovett. The Spartan of the Year was awarded to Jake Storey and Spartanette of the Year was awarded to Felecia Wissekerke. Congratulations to all the spring athletes and a great thank you to the 2009 senior student athletes.......Go Spartans !!! |

Spartans Spring To Battle of the Bridges Title |

The Uxbridge Spartans, riding a strong finish in spring sports, clinched their 5th consecutive Battle of the Bridges title. Uxbridge picked up wins in boys and girls tennis, softball and girls track while the Rams picked up wins in baseball and boys track as the schools finished their varsity contests for the 2008-2009 season. With the wins the Spartans finished with 20 points to the Rams 14 points. The Battle of the Bridges trophy will be presented to the Spartans on Tuesday May 26th at the annual spring Athletic Awards banquet.........Go Spartans !!!!! |

Get your tickets early as the Booster Club will hold their annual "Spring Fling" on Sat April 18th from 7 PM to midnight at the VFW, Post 1385, in Uxbridge. The Spring Fling is one of the major fundraisers conducted by the Booster Club to raise monies for our student-athletes. Get set for a night of music, dancing, raffles, refreshments and lots of laughter. Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased from any Booster Club member as well as at the door......Go Spartans !!! |

The UHS Athletic Dept and the Uxbridge Athletic Booster Club proudly sponser the 2009 spring sports and senior athletic awards banquet to be held on Tuesday May 26th at the Village Haven in N.Smithfield, RI. Tickets are $5 each for members of a UHS varsity team and $15 each for parents, guests and non-varsity students. Dinner will be served at 6:30 PM followed by the presentation of spring team awards and senior recognition awards. Tickets may be purchased from Mr. Mark Donahue, UHS Athletic Director at the high school.....Go Spartans !!!! |

The Uxbridge Spartans, holding a slim 12-10 lead after the fall and winter competition, are inching closer to their 5th consecutive Battle of the Bridges title. In recent action, the Spartans picked up wins in boy's tennis, girl's tennis and softball to run their point total to 15. Meanwhile the Rams picked up a point with a victory by the baseball team. With the stretch run coming up during the month of May, the Spartans hold a 15-11 lead over their arch rivals, the Northbridge Rams.....Go Spartans !!! |

Lady Spartans to Receive SAM Award |

 The Uxbridge girl's varsity basketball team will be honored and recognized by the Boston Celtics as this year's recepient of the Sportsmanship Alliance of Massachusetts Award ( SAM ). This award is presented by the professional sports team in Massachusetts to a deserving high school team in their respective sport. The Lady Spartans will be honored on Sunday March 29th at the Celtics home game against Oklahoma City. Congratulations to the players and coaches for their continued success and sportsmanship......Go Spartans !!! |
